The seminar was hosted by Linköping University at the Campus Norrköping in Sweden. Focus on the status of community work in Sweden, Finland and Norway was on the agenda. Interesting presentations from community work projects were presented. Dialogue during the conference showed that there is a need to develop a Nordic strategy to raise awareness about the need for community work in the social work education programmes. This committee with representatives from the three countries will be led by Gunn Strand Hutchinson at Nordland University, Norway.
At the conference Anne Karin Larsen and Kjell Henriksbø from Bergen University College participated and presented ‘International education in Community Work on the Internet’ and ‘Students understanding of Community Work in an International Perspective.
