New e-Teachers

Autumn 2011, five teachers finished the course  ePedagogy for teachers in higher education with very good results. We wish them good luck with their future practice as e-teachers.

Invitation to partnership

SW-VirCamp aims to increase the number of HEI for partnership. The Seminar in Haarlem was a starting point for this and participants received and gave information about their international positions and interests in VirCamp and online interprofessional courses.

University of the Artic

The newletter from the University of the Artic has information about VirCamp. Open this blogpost and click on the picture to see the newsletter.  At the Nordic Conference in Reykjavik in August this year, Anne Karin Larsen, from Bergen University College presented VirCamp to the thematic network on social work in the Artic University. Module 1 has started

The Module 1 – Social Work in Europe – Commonalities and Differences started on the 26 September 2011 with 26 students from Spain, Belgium, Netherland, Germany and Norway. We hope they will find the course interesting and that they will get in good contact with each other.

Apply for this year online courses

The first online course this study year – Social Work in Europe starts on the 26 September. Intake procedure is going on. Invitation to become partner in the VirCamp Consortium

These days an invitation has been sent to HEI to consider partnership in the VirCamp Consortium. We also invite note only social work educations but also health and teacher educations to join in and to participate in the development of interprofessional international online courses. A seminar will be held on the 11 November in Haarlem. If you did not receive an invitation already and you find this interesting, contact our Consortium Coordinator Remmelt Veenkamp.

Steering group meeting

The steering group in VirCamp had a meeting this week and discussed the question about partnership with the network University of the Artic.When this is settled also Master programmes can become part of the VirCamp portfolio.

Change in Partner Positions

During the annual Consortium Meeting in Haarlem on the 17 June 2011, there was decided a change in partner positions. Bergen University College and the Coordinator Anne Karin Larsen will give the position as leading institution and consortium coordinator to Inholland University of Applied Sciences and to Remmelt Veenkamp.

The Steering Group will continue with the same persons but in different positions: Wim Wouters; KHKempen will be leader for Education, Andres Astray, Complutense University continue as leader of Research and Anne Karin Larsen, Bergen University College will take the position as leader of Development.

Ulla Törnig, Mannheim University of Applied Sciences will be the Chairman for the Consortium Mangement Group.
