The SW-VirCamp project presented at the Nordic Association of Schools of Social Work (NASSW) 23. Conference in Bodø, 6 - 9 August 2009.
The project was presented in Norwegian by Anne Karin Larsen, Klas-Göran Olsson, Kjell Henriksbø and Grete Oline Hole (not present).
The presentation is available here, and will be published also at the NSHK (NASSW) website. The theme for the conference was :"Utviklingstrekk og spenninger i de Nordiske velferdsstater - utfordringer og muligheter for utdanningene i sosialt arbeid "(no), in English: "Trends and tensions in the Nordic welfarestates - challenges and possibilities for HE in social work".
The title for our presentation was: "Internasjonal spesialisering i komparativt sosialt arbeid. En presentasjon av SW-VirCamp prosjektet" (no), in English: "Internasjonal specialisation in comparativ social work. A presentation of the SW-VirCamp project".
Many people participated in our workshop and found the content interesting and the idea about an international specialisation in social work challenging and innovative.

Dissemination of the Virtual Campus for Social Work in Europe
Description of workpackage
A plan for dissemination of the project aims; -contents and results of the project will be drafted, presented and agreed upon at the kick off meeting in Bergen. Deliverables 7.2-7.4 refer to a continuing dissemination process, which therefore is considered to be completed in August 2010. Ocourse dissemination will continue after the direct project lifetime.
Dissemination will be produced by all the partners trying to reach a wide range of potential audiences interested in the educational and
professional outcomes of the work undertaken in this Virtual Campus.
Target groups are:
• National and international social work faculties (students, staff and management);
• HEI managers and executive boards;
• Social work professionals as well as their associations;
• Social work services, agencies and institutions, as well as private, public as well as public-private;
These target groups are both national (within the partner countries) as well as international.
Basically the dissemination activities aim at underlining the benefits of as well as the project experiences with an international specialization in social work through a Virtual Campus.
The deliverables 7.2-7.4 refer to the range of different dissemination tools and instruments to be used.
Moreover, the dissemination will include non-social work stakeholders which may be interested in the Virtual Campus concept and experiences.

Description:
A written plan for dissemination with a Gantt diagram will be made during the autumn 2008 and agreed by the partners involved by the kick off conference in Bergen 2008.
The dissemination plan will contain specific information about:
- the dissemination objectives;
- the target groups;
- the instruments to reach these target groups;
- an operational plan defining 'who will do what , when for which target group and how'.

A framework for oral presentations like PowerPoint , summaries and overview of the project available in English to be used byull partners will be made and available at the project website.
