Application
To create the best possible learning environment, VirCamp encourages students’ groups to be as mixed as possible in terms of nationalities, gender and educational level.
Students need to be able to read, understand, and express themselves in English fluently (min. level B1 of CEFR) and be ready for self-study periods working on weekly assignments on their own and with groups.
For questions and further information, please contact E-Ped coordinator Wim Wouters.
Exams & Certificates
VirCamp e-students are continually evaluated through the papers (portfolio), participation, and feedback received during the courses, plus a final assignment delivered at the end of each course.
The assessment of final assignments corresponds to a an international team of internal and external assessors belonging to several European Higher Education Institutions.
Particular attention is payed to deal with potential cases of plagiarism.
Grades achieved (ranging A to F, where F = Fail/not passed) can be seen on Canvas. Failing students have the right of re-examination at the end of the academic year.
Social Work students in VirCamp member Institutions will get their certificate or transference/recognition of grades achieved from their own Institution.
External students (i.e., other studies, non-member Institutions, professionals, etc.) will get their certificate from the VirCamp Partner Institution in their country that has served as main contact and support.
